Off to the Other Side of the Mountains

Combining two freelance jobs, a period of transition at work and some massive personal drama this week has completely exhausted me. Though the freelance stuff can’t be ignored, Scott and I will be taking some time away from home this weekend. Air conditioning alone is enough reason to be in a hotel while temperatures in Seattle keep climbing upwards and the apartment gets more and more stuffy. Sometimes choosing a place that’s cozy in the winter means suffering during the summer. They say though that when the world explodes around you it can really be the beginning of a new and brighter day. I hope to find that brighter day next to a luxurious lagoon pool.
