Not so Many People

It’s hard to believe it’s all over. Let me start out by saying that attendance at Cascadia Con was lower than they were hoping for. That means that the amount of foot traffic going by our area, which was hosting Spawns of Insomnia, Comics Biography Theater and individual comics tables, was next to nothing most of the time. And on top of that, this being a science fiction convention, it seemed like our strip would be out of place at best. Nevertheless we sold quite a few books. Print-on-demand meant that we didn’t invest a great deal in our first order anyway, and despite the obstacles we are on our way to at least breaking even. At least all of the quiet was beneficial to our hard-working Spawns artists.
