Hitting the News in Tacoma

That artist ran behind this weekend and so we are giving him a break and offer this rerun just for today. It’s back to the storyline on Wednesday. On Sunday Scott was quoted in the Tacoma News Tribune in an article on webcomics. The article hasn’t made it to the web so I can’t link for anybody to read. Fellow local cartoonist Mark Monlux was also quoted and actually recommended us for the article, as we mentioned Bill Morse who was also included. We mentioned everybody that we knew doing webcomics locally but not everybody ended up in the article. The author Bill Hutchins listed his local favorites as:

  1. Penny Arcade
  2. The Comic Critic
  3. Scooter and Ferret
  4. Rhapsodies
  5. Hellogoodbye

Scott regrets that the article refers to him as “Ball” too often, but other than that it was very satisfying to be part of it.

Author of Strawberry Shortcake: Return of the Purple Pie Man, Disney’s Frozen Comic Collection, Transformers: Robots in Disguise Animated and Littlest Pet Shop: Open for Business. She’s written for IDW Publishing, Hasbro, Lion Forge, American Greetings and Scholastic, and her work has been discussed in Comics Beat and The Washington Post. Subscribe to the newsletter
