Dark and Cold

You may remember that our laptop died a couple of weeks ago. It may have hit the big one for real this time, because now it won’t come on at all. That’s the place where I was checking our subscription email and setting that up on the desktop doesn’t seem to be working. The reasons for that are involved and tedious, believe me you don’t want to know. I think I can check it by web so tomorrow I’m going to sift through all the junk and make sure nobody got missed. It has not been my week. Want to know why the strip was late today? The power went out last night and my alarm didn’t go off. I was late doing the strip and late to work and completely flaked on my carpool. Twice on the carpool in two days as a matter of fact, since I had forgotten to remind them I wasn’t riding the day before and they waited for me. I wouldn’t blame the carpool if they thought I was the world’s biggest putz. Complicating it all, I have been battling a mild nose cold for three days. At least when you’re alarm doesn’t go off you can get some extra zzzzzs to fight that obnoxious cold off. On a lighter note, I really like the way the text turned out this time.
