Mariners and CNW

Cartoonists Northwest enjoyed a Saturday evening together at the Mariners game. I know Scott loves baseball but I really don’t care about it at all. Getting out to a game and sitting in the stands with a group isn’t too bad though. It helps when the Mariners beat the Padres and the game has a decent amount of action, we went to a game last year where the action was so slow the Mariners won on a balk. Thanks to the group for organizing, especially Luke Martin for getting the tickets ahead of time.

Television Finale Spoilers

Did you see the season finale of The Office?? Wow. So many twists. We finally got to see Jim make his first date with Pam. Now Jan and Michael are living together and Ryan is Michael’s new boss? What I love most about my favorite show is it’s never predictable. Thursday is my one night of the week to watch TV, because everything I like is on one night, so we opened a bottle of wine and watched finales. The evening ended with CSI, and even though I’d had some advance warning about it, what a cliffhanger. Now it’s a whole summer to go before anyone will know if Sara makes it out from underneath that Mustang.

Final Fantasy Birthday

Thank you everyone for the well wishes on Scott’s birthday. In honor of that day, I wrapped up the revised version of Animation Closet by adding the description text to each image. We also took time out this weekend to start his birthday present, Final Fantasy XII. Game play reminds me a little of World of Warcraft so far, and as usual, it seems to want to take up a lot of time. That of course is impossible, so I’m probably going to be stretching this thing out over the next two years.
