A girl who lives by the beach has a houseful of dachshunds. They spend an afternoon dressing in costumes made from found objects on the seashore. When the ocean magically grants the girl’s wish, the dogs find new homes as fanciful dog breeds.

Goldie is a dachshund running carefree on the beach until she meets a pelican. Goldie is delighted by what they have in common but quickly realizes they have very distinct differences.
